Care
An HPL waste bin enclosure is extremely easy to maintain. The smooth, weather-resistant surface requires no post-treatment or painting. For cleaning, water with a mild detergent and a soft cloth are usually sufficient.
More stubborn dirt can be easily removed with a damp sponge – ensuring the surface remains permanently clean and color-stable.

Wie wird die HPL-Oberfläche der ChargeBox gereinigt?
Für die regelmäßige Reinigung genügen Wasser, ein mildes Reinigungsmittel und ein weiches Tuch. Hartnäckigere Verschmutzungen können mit einem feuchten, nicht scheuernden Schwamm entfernt werden. Anstriche, Öle oder andere Nachbehandlungen sind nicht erforderlich.
Welche Farben sind für die ChargeBox erhältlich?
Die ChargeBox ist standardmäßig in Weiß, Lichtgrau, Schiefergrau und Taupe erhältlich. Weitere Farbtöne können auf Anfrage geprüft werden.
Wer darf die Wallbox elektrisch anschließen?
Der elektrische Anschluss, die Prüfung und die Inbetriebnahme müssen durch ein entsprechend qualifiziertes und beim Netzbetreiber eingetragenes Installationsunternehmen erfolgen. Dies gilt auch für die Auswahl der Zuleitung, Absicherung und erforderlichen Schutzeinrichtungen.
Ist die ChargeBox abschließbar?
Ja. Die ChargeBox besitzt ein abschließbares Gehäuse mit Schloss und robusten Beschlägen aus rostfreiem Edelstahl. Die eingebaute Wallbox ist dadurch bei geschlossener Tür nicht frei zugänglich.
Kann eine Wallbox mit fest angeschlagenem Ladekabel eingebaut werden?
Grundsätzlich können auch Wallboxen mit fest angeschlagenem Ladekabel geeignet sein. Dabei müssen die Position des Kabelausgangs, der notwendige Biegeradius und der verfügbare Einbauraum berücksichtigt werden. Wir empfehlen deshalb, das konkrete Wallbox-Modell vor der Bestellung prüfen zu lassen.
Wie werden Stromleitung und Ladekabel in der ChargeBox geführt?
Die elektrische Zuleitung wird durch den vorgesehenen Bodenauslass von unten in die ChargeBox geführt. Die weitere Kabelführung im Innenraum wird bei der Installation an das verwendete Wallbox-Modell angepasst. Dadurch bleiben Zuleitungen weitgehend verdeckt.
Wie wird die ChargeBox am Boden befestigt?
Die ChargeBox wird fest mit dem vorbereiteten Untergrund verbunden. Welche Befestigungsmittel benötigt werden, richtet sich nach dem vorhandenen Fundament beziehungsweise der Bodenplatte. Die Bodenbefestigung muss auf den jeweiligen Untergrund abgestimmt werden.
Ist die ChargeBox wetterfest und für den Außenbereich geeignet?
Ja. Der Korpus besteht aus 13 mm starkem HPL und ist witterungsbeständig, UV-stabil und frostbeständig. Die Beschläge und das Schloss bestehen aus rostfreiem Edelstahl. Damit ist die ChargeBox für den dauerhaften Einsatz im Außenbereich ausgelegt.

Benötigt die Wallbox Säule ein Fundament?
Für einen dauerhaft sicheren Stand benötigt die ChargeBox einen ebenen und tragfähigen Untergrund. Empfehlenswert ist ein fachgerecht ausgeführtes Betonfundament oder eine ausreichend stabile Bodenplatte. Eine Befestigung auf Pflaster ist möglich, wenn der Unterbau und die Verankerung die entstehenden Belastungen sicher aufnehmen können.
Kann ich die ChargeBox selbst montieren?
Die mechanische Aufstellung und Bodenbefestigung kann von handwerklich erfahrenen Personen durchgeführt werden, sofern ein geeigneter Untergrund vorhanden ist und die Verankerung fachgerecht ausgeführt wird. Arbeiten an der elektrischen Anlage und der Anschluss der Wallbox dürfen nicht selbst vorgenommen werden.
Kann die ChargeBox das ganze Jahr im Freien bleiben?
Ja. Die ChargeBox ist für den ganzjährigen Einsatz in der Einfahrt, unter dem Carport oder an einem freistehenden Stellplatz konzipiert. Zusätzlich müssen die Vorgaben des Herstellers der eingebauten Wallbox beachtet werden.
Wie schützt die ChargeBox die Wallbox vor unbefugtem Zugriff?
Die Wallbox befindet sich hinter der abschließbaren Tür der ChargeBox. Das geschlossene Gehäuse erschwert den direkten Zugriff, Manipulationen und eine unbefugte Nutzung. Einen vollständigen Schutz vor Diebstahl oder mutwilliger Beschädigung kann ein Gehäuse jedoch nicht garantieren.
Muss die ChargeBox oder die Wallbox beim Netzbetreiber angemeldet werden?
Die ChargeBox selbst ist lediglich das Gehäuse und muss nicht angemeldet werden. Die darin installierte Wallbox muss dem zuständigen Netzbetreiber vor der Inbetriebnahme gemeldet werden. Für neue Wallboxen mit einer Netzanschlussleistung von mehr als 4,2 kW gelten außerdem die Regelungen für steuerbare Verbrauchseinrichtungen nach § 14a EnWG. Die konkreten Anforderungen stimmt der Elektrofachbetrieb mit dem örtlichen Netzbetreiber ab.
